Over three years, an international EEA scholarship project, implemented by RTU Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management in cooperation with the Southeastern University of Norway, provides 65 RTU researchers, experienced academics and students with the opportunity to explore the innovation environment in Scandinavia, gain and exchange experiences, interact, and promote the creation of innovative business ideas and service companies in Latvia.
From 10 to 12 May, the robotics hackathon «RoboBattle 48» will take place, organised by the Science and Innovation Centre of Riga Technical University (RTU). Students, researchers, representatives of start-ups, as well as other robot enthusiasts are invited to take part in the event, where they will not only have the opportunity to design their own robot, but also take part in a robot tournament, competing in a specially created arena.

Oxford University mathematician Tom Crawford, who shares his love of mathematics with millions on his award-winning YouTube channel, will talk about mathematical modelling and how it can be used to solve a variety of problems in a one-off lecture at Riga Technical University's (RTU) Science and Innovation Centre «The Moon» on 20 April at 11.00.
